Job Listing: Field Geologist

Aerotek Environmental Engineering is looking for a Field Technician in the Cincinnati, OH area. This candidate must have completed the OSHA 40 hour training course.

Job Requirements:
*Experience in planning and implementing field investigations and conducting environmental sampling
*BS in Geology
*Experience with groundwater sampling and drilling oversight
*Must be comfortable with a lot of day travel and occasional overnight trips
*Must be able to oversee subcontractors in the field
*Must have a clean driving background
*Must be able to submit to a drug and background check

Job Duties:
*Long-term technician in the field
*Planning and implementing field investigations (preparation of work plans, coordination with oversight of subcontractors, logging of boreholes and construction of monitoring wells, record keeping, report writing, analyzing and interpreting geologic, hydrologic and analytical reports)
*Will be on the road everyday visiting mostly retail petroleum sites
*Will be overseeing stormwater discharge systems
*Will be writing reports in the office
