Job Listing: IT Manager/Director

Our client is seeking an IT Director to join its team in Fort Smith, AR. This will be a direct placement opportunity with them.

In this role, your responsibilities will include overseeing, directing, and aligning the efforts of the Information Services Applications and Customer Support staff to align support needs with business strategy. You will also need to keep abreast of technology trends and recommend new technologies when appropriate and also ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting. You will enforce company policies and internal controls and also appropriately manage costs to strike a balance between shareholder returns, customer service and employee satisfaction. You will be accountable to continually improve processes to add ever greater value to the Highway to Success concept and also support in every way possible the efforts of peers to achieve their goals.

In order to qualify for this position, you must have a bachelors or masters degree from an accredited college or university. The following experience is required as well: at least eight years relevant progressive work experience in Computer Information Systems, at least eight years of progressive work experience in the areas of personnel and process management preferred, and at least five years of progressive work experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
