Major Duties

With the migration of the Master Address File (MAF)/Topologically
Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (TIGER) system to
Oracle, all MAF/TIGER system software development, testing, and
production is dependent on effective design of software components
and their interfaces. The incumbent will develop software design
approaches, and assure that the various components successfully
integrate to provide an effective geographic support system; assure
software design documents are developed according to standards of
the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and support
traceability; assist the Assistant Division Chief by taking the lead
on management of the MAF/TIGER Benchmarking System, the Legal Values
Database, and implementation of document management methodologies to
support software development, design, testing, and production.

Operation Iraqi Freedom under the following conditions: honorable

Reservist, served the full period for which called to active duty
(Reservists must include appropriate documentation).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: You must have the education or


experience listed below or a combination of both.




EXPERIENCE: You must have one year of specialized experience


equivalent to the grade 13 level in the Federal service.


Specialized experience is work experience planning, implementing,


and evaluating a large information technology system in support of


administrative or technical activities; ensuring the integration of


information technology programs and services and developing


solutions to integration issues; and serving as a consultant to high-


ranking officials.




EDUCATION: Education cannot be substituted for experience at this


grade level.
