Volt Technical Resources in Vienna, VA has a Direct Hire, Full-Time, In-House offer for a dynamic, experienced and proven Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day success of our Technical Recruiters and to ensure that the staffing needs of our clients are being met in an efficient and effective manner.
The Branch Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day productivity and quality of service that our Technical Recruiters provide to our clients and associates. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities with existing clients and developing value-added programs and marketing campaigns to enhance client relationships. Please be advised that there will be a major sales-focused component to this position as you work to develop these relationships. You will be a mentor and coach to our internal Recruiting Team as well as a consultative partner with our clients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop new business and increase existing business through a combination of methods that may include all or in part: research, lead generation, prospecting, networking and in-person appointments with new, reactivated and existing customers.
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and develop Branch staff in an effort to create strong team members that contribute to the success and growth of the Branch.
Contribute to Branch operations or sales by interviewing candidates and filling orders (recruiting) or by maintaining an active role in outside sales.
Oversee day-to-day operation and function of internal staff in relation to business functions.
Manage the activity and effectiveness of the Account Management Team.
Initiate daily communication with Recruiting Staff relative to customer service priorities and business opportunities.
Monitor customer satisfaction as well as satisfaction of field employees with Volt's service.
Monitor, supervise and participate in Branch recruiting plan to continually bring in new candidates, in order to meet current and future customer needs.
Maintain responsibility for the Branch’s Profit and Loss (P&L). Coordinate expenses and variable overhead items:

Orchestrating a successful and profitable operation.
Prepare and work with an annual budget.
Manage payroll, database, collection and accounts/payable functions effectively.

Complete or oversee daily, weekly and monthly reporting, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely and accurate manner.
Interface with Volt Corporate departments, including the District Accounting office, on payroll, billing and aging functions.
Handle general Human Resources functions such as compensation, wage and salary, fair employment practices and other regulations regarding employment, including:

Performance Reviews
Disciplinary Actions
Terminations of In-House Employees

Participate in networking organizations.
Perform functions of any staff position within the office as necessary, to achieve Branch goals.
Complete timely data entry input into Volt’s automated systems. Maintain consistency and integrity of data.
Perform additional tasks as needed and assigned.

Required Skills for this Branch Manager position include the following:

Must have a STRONG Sales background
4+ years of Manager experience and strong Sales experience
A proven and profitable track record in Management and/or Sales Management or Customer Service Management in a related field or industry
Ability to determine and implement sales and recruiting efforts
Ability to guide, direct and motivate others
Demonstrated sound business judgment
Business presentation skills
Intermediate computer skill level using Excel, Word, Outlook, and the Internet
Previous experience servicing, supporting, developing or generating major accounts
Knowledge of software or other special skills required
Knowledge and skill of Microsoft Windows products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to:

Successfully communicate – both verbally and in writing
Provide excellent customer service
Accomplish multiple tasks
Make quick decisions and work under pressure

Excellent time management, as well as organizational and judgment skills
Interpersonal skills
B.A. preferred
