Job Listing: SMT Inspector (Swing)

Volt Services Group is recruiting for an swing shift SMT Inspector for an electronics manufacturing company located in Meridian. As an SMT Inspector, you will verify product or material quality and provide feedback to Operators who are responsible. Identify defects and trends, record inspection status, perform production activities and rework as needed to support the production team

Swing shift hours are 2:30PM-1:00AM Monday through Thursday with some overtime on Fridays.

Required Skills

Must have a thorough understanding of IPC-A-610 Acceptability Standard and previous experience performing IPC inspection. Must be able to identify common component types, packages, and orientations, read component values and tolerances, and make basic metric conversions. Soldering skills preferred. Strong verbal and written communications skills needed. High school diploma or equivalent required. May require the ability to recognize all colors in a normal color spectrum.
