Commercial airplane airframe structures engineering design position. Apply knowledge of structural design, materials, design definition principles, regulatory/qualification environment, and configuration management principles to create structural designs of commercial airframe products. Evaluate designs and perform trade studies for performance, structural adequacy, cost effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Integrate technical, cost, value, and safety considerations into the product definition to comply with customer, regulatory, and company requirements. Document results in drawings, datasets, reports, specifications, and supporting data. Interface with other members of project or program teams, management , and technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions to meet group, organization, and company objectives

Required Skills
MUST BE PROFICIENT WITH CATIA V5 OR CATIA V4.
EDUCATION: REQUIRES B.S. OR M.S. DEGREE IN ENGINEERING (MECHANICAL, CIVIL OR AERONAUTICAL PREFERRED) OR EQUIVALENT DEGREE AND TYPICALLY A MINIMUM OF 8 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AN ENGINEERING CLASSIFICATION.
