Job Listing: Procurement Quality Engineer

We currently have a direct hire position for a Procurement Quality Engineer at a company in Burbank, CA. The position will pay DOE. The Engineer, Procurement Quality, routinely performs complex tasks in the Supplier Quality field related to supplier qualification, development, and maintenance as appropriate to assure that the company's supplier quality system requirements are met and maintained, and that procured products meet all drawing and specification requirements. This position reports directly to the Manager, Procurement Quality.
Successful candidates need to have an B.S. or B.A. degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering, or related field. Requires sufficient knowledge of the field of assignment as indicated in the above job description to effectively and thoroughly perform the full scope of responsibility. Previous related experience sufficient to demonstrate satisfactory competence and knowledge of theory and practice of modern quality control principle concepts and methods as applied to a high technology electronics design and manufacturing operation.
