Job Listing: Marketing Specialist

Our client located in Lanham, MD is currently looking for a Marketing Specialist to join their team. The Company is a leading government contractor.

-Qualified candidates should have experience in marketing and sales with DOD, Federal and State Government.
-Their target audience is the federal government with current focus on the Air Force however they pursue all government contracting opportunities.
-The Marketer will need to have 5 - 10 years experience in direct marketing and sales of software and professional services with information technology related to DOD, Federal and State Government.
-The ideal candidate will be familiar with the organization, and content of government solicitation documents, such as RFP’s, RFQ’s and RFI’s.
-Also, they will be responsible for finding marketing opportunities, monitor competitions, present competitive reports, implement advertising, news campaigns and maintain promotional materials.
-Generate revenue by developing market potentials through forecasting, lead generation, recommending new products and services.
-Identify market potentials, initiate sales process, close sales and expand sales in existing accounts.
-Work closely with company operations personnel and proposal development team.
-Candidates with recent military experience in an IT environment would be encouraged to apply.
