TEKsystems is currently accepting resumes for the position of Change Management Analyst. This is a contract position with a top client located in Plymouth.
The Change Management Analyst will coordinate the production implementation, including report and/or forms, and conversion of new application systems/reports/forms with associated interdependencies and provides ongoing support to those application systems/reports/forms.
Complete Description:
-Services internal clients by providing operations analysis, consultation, documentation and production implementation services for either a new/changed application, application reports, or application-specific forms under IT guidelines.
-Assesses client production needs and either assists or obtains the resources to assist in production implementation and ongoing support of the client’s system/reports/forms.
-Reviews operations documentation including user guides to ensure existence of such documentation along with accuracy and usefulness.
-Checks new releases, upgrades for no adverse affect to other systems.
-Liaise between clients for change control processes, successful production turnover.
-May estimate development work, AFE preparation.
Assumes on-call responsibilities as appropriate.
-Document, track, and monitor a problem to ensure a timely resolution via an enterprise ticketing system
-Monitor incident details, including configuration items affected via enterprise ticketing system
-Monitor, troubleshoot and correct application, server and network problems. Monitor for alarm conditions and respond appropriately when fault is detected
-Follow escalation procedures and communicate issues clearly to both technical and non-technical individuals
-Incident and problem investigation and diagnosis (including resolution where possible)
-Act as a restoration team member during major incidents
-Document, track, and monitor infrastructure change to ensure a timely and error free infrastructure change execution.
-Monitor change details, including configuration items affected via enterprise change system
-Enforce system and network security procedures
