Job Listing: Embedded Software Engineer

Our Client, A Leading Defense and Aerospace Company in the Twin Cities is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer. They are a global supplier of systems and services to both the aerospace and defense markets.

The Embedded Software Engineer will design, code, and develop embedded code per DO-178B standards to achieve product development schedules. This Software Engineer will be supporting the entire Software Development Life Cycle and will need to work with limited supervision, as well as be able to work well in a fast paced team environment.

The Embedded Software Engineer will need to have experience in the following:

1) Embedded Programming for RTOS in C
2) Programming for DSPs (Texas Instrument 6700 series)
3) Safety Critical Software Development Process Requirements
4) DO-178B (airborne system preferred)
5) Defense and/or Aerospace Background

This Embedded Software Engineer opening is a Contract Position and will run a duration of 8 months potentially longer.
