Job Listing: Environmental Engineer P.E.

Aerotek Engineering is currently seeking an Environmental Engineer P.E. to work for our client in Murrysville, PA.

The Environmental Engineer will be working on the following types of projects: Site Investigations, Site Remediation, Underground Storage Tank, Asbestos, Litigation Support and
Phase I Site Assessments.

The Environmental Engineer will have the following duties:
- Prepare proposals, develop work plans, prepare cost estimates, select resources, hire subcontractors, monitor budgets, and solve problems
- Interact with clients and represent clients at meetings
- Prepare site investigation and site remediation plans
- Evaluate soil and groundwater treatment technologies
- Design treatment systems such as soil capping, soil mixing, excavation, land farming, soil vapor extraction, pump and treat, etc.
- Develop and oversee pilot tests
- Oversee construction activities
- Develop operation and maintenance procedures
- Conducts facility audits and deal with regulatory compliance issues
- Provide litigation support (comment on data gaps, review reports, assess technical approaches, etc.)

The Environmental Engineer should have the following experience:
- A degree in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering
- A Professional Engineer certification
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the environmental field

    Salary and Benefits

    Rate: $60,000 to $90,000 per Year
