Job Listing: Senior Tax and Accounting Manager

My client is looking for a Senior Tax and Accounting Manager, someone with managerial experience in Public Accounting.

As a senior, an employee's focus is on supervising and training less experienced staff, assigning tasks and running jobs, planning and coordinating engagements, performing detailed reviews of staff work, and presenting completed engagements through to a manager or partner.

-Take responsibility for overall engagement planning and job administration
-Maintain communications with client personnel in during non-engagement periods
-Challenge and improve current engagement procedures
-Assume responsibility for timely planning, supervision and completion of routine engagements
-Have the ability to effectively research tax and accounting issues and propose solutions
-Understand the need to delegate responsibility to staff to enhance their professional development
-Possess technical knowledge of audit and tax
