Job Listing: Drywall Estimator

Leading Drywall and Masonry Contractor is looking for a Jr. Drywall Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing firm with long term career opportunity for growth.

Job Description: Summary: Acts in an engineering capacity for all activities of assigned projects within clearly established policies and procedures.

Primary Responsibilities for the Estimator:

- Interprets plans and specifications in order to provide timely and accurate quantity surveys for our scopes of work.
- Possesses the required technical knowledge as well as the knowledge of the bidding folder and bidding policies in order to provide a complete conceptual estimate.
- Possesses the skills to prepare written proposals for completed estimates.
-Possess a sensitivity to labor, material and equipment costs.

Qualifications:

- B.S. degree required, in either civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance or accounting preferred.
- GPA 3.0+
--0-4 years experience in Estimating

-Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively (oral and written), represent the company effectively, and grow with the company.
