Job Listing: Senior Tax Analyst - Biotech

Our $3 billion public biopharmaceutical client in Cambridge is currently seeking a Sr. Tax Analyst.

Compensation:
$65-100k plus 7-10% bonus and RSUs


Responsibilities:
*Preparation of the Company’s worldwide annual and quarterly tax provision including preparation of detailed calculations related to accounting for income tax contingencies (FIN48) and accounting for stock-based compensation (FAS 123R)
*Assist with managing and updating quarterly and annual Tax Accounting procedures to ensure compliance with required Sox control objectives
*Work with Corporate Accounting and Business Planning groups on tax forecasting and projections as needed
*Assist with the preparation of Federal and various state income tax returns.
*Assist in the calculation and preparation of quarterly federal and state estimated tax payments;
*Assist with the preparation of responses to federal and state tax notices;
*Assist with maintenance of international and state legal entity structure;
*Assist with resolving outstanding audit issues by interfacing with revenue agents and researching various audit issues;
*Assist with planning and analysis including structuring of collaboration and partnerships; site analyses; and transfer of technologies;
*Assist with various special projects on an ad-hoc basis.

Requirements:
The candidate should have 2 to 5 years of experience working in public accounting or in a corporate tax department and an understanding of Federal and state income taxation and the compliance process. Candidate must possess strong analytical and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to work well under strict deadlines with a focus on attention to detail. Candidate must also be proficient with spreadsheets, databases and tax applications and be familiar with tax and accounting research.

BS in Accounting. CPA strongly preferred.
