Job Listing: Corporate Controller - Biotech/Pharma

Our Life Science Contract Manufacturing & Services client north of Boston is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead it's accounting and finance activities. This is the lead A&F role within the organization, reporting to the CEO.

Compensation: $90k - 110k base / Plus 8 to 10% bonus

Responsibilities:
1. Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.
2. Directs preparation of budgets, reviews budget proposals, and prepares necessary supporting documentation and justification.
3. Advises management about insurance coverage for protection against property losses and potential liabilities.
4. Provides management with timely reviews of organization's financial status and progress in its various programs and activities.
5. Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets.
6. Monitors the company's cash flow and allocates funds for vendor payments.
7. Responsible for timely collection of outstanding accounts receivable.
8. Responsible for all invoicing for the company.
9. Responsible for bi-monthly payroll processing.
10. Arranges for audits/reviews of company's financial results.
11. Establishes relations with banks and other financial institutions.
12. Performs other duties as required

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for one AP/AR Supervisor and 2 AP/AR Clerks.

Requirements:
*Requires a Bachelors/Master degree or equivalent with minimum of 10+ years experience with Bachelors or 6 to 10 years with Masters. Strong written and oral communication skills essential.

*Strong technical accounting and FP&A experience.

*Manufacturing and cost accounting experience.

*Life Science, biotech or pharma experience preferred.
