Job Listing: Chief Auditor

Well established South Florida Financial Institution seeks a hands on Chief Auditor with a strong work ethic and excellent business acumen, who desires to remain on a highly visible career path. The ideal candidate will have successfully performed this role for the Big 4 or a large Financial Institution.

Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of an audit including (i) scope and plan development, (ii) field work, (iii) formulation of internal control and process improvement recommendations, (iv) preparation of written reports, and (v) presentation of findings and recommendations to the Audit Committee
- Lead a wide variety of audit assignments including financial, operational, information technology and compliance audits
- Drive improvements of departmental processes and procedures
- Serve as a technical resource
- Work with Upper Management on the global risk assessment and audit plan
- Participate in special projects as deemed necessary by management and the Audit Committee

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
- CPA and CIA are a strong plus
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
- Team player with the ability to operate independently and meet tight deadlines
- Experience planning and managing several audit projects simultaneously
