Job Listing: Aerospace Senior Buyer

An International Helicopter Manufacture is looking for a Sr. Buyer for it's location in Philadelphia, PA.

Direct Placement Position
PAY RATE- Based ON Experience + Relocation Assistance

MUST HAVE AN AEROSPACE PROCUREMENT BACKROUND TO BE CONSIDERED

Responsibilities:
- Define vendors and award Purchase Orders for Materials//Parts within his commodities group
- Advise and represent AAC in negotiations with vendors
- Analyze reports to obtain current information concerning all phases of procurement to control budget, procurement objectives, and effective procurement techniques
- Monitor quantity and quality of work in assigned group, review buying activity, instruct and direct buyers and provide feedback to same. Identify problem areas and recommend/discuss solutions with the Procurement Manager
- Review all work generated by assigned group to insure accuracy and compliance with requisitions from factories of the Group and procurement policies and procedures

Qualifications:
Education: HS diploma or equivalent
Experience: 8 years of procurement exp with minimum 3 years in aerospace industry

Skills – Required:

§ Supervisory experience

§ 3 years procurement experience in aerospace industry

Skills – Preferred:

BA/BS degree
CPM
