Job Listing: Planner/Buyer

Our client, an international helicopter company in Philadelphia, PA has an immediate opening for a Planner/Buyer with a production aerospace background.

This is a direct placement opportunity with salary based on experience.

Essential Duties:

- Plan, find, and purchase helicopter parts
- Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing material and parts
- Compares quotes with the specifications and availability of items and places orders
- Prepares and places purchase orders
- Analyze blueprints and material specifications to prepare documentation for solicitation of quotes
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions
- Select vendors

Required Skills for Planner/Buyer Job:

  • 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AEROSPACE ENVIRON
  • BA BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION OR EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
  • KNOWLEDGE OF FAR REGULATIONS
  • KNOWLEDGE OF ACCOUNT METHODS
  • KNOWLEDGE OF AEROSPACE PARTS SUPPLIERS
  • KNOWLEDGE OF UNIFORM COMMERCIAL CODE
