Job Listing: Drafting Services Manager

Aerotek Energy services currently has a need for a Drafting Services Manager with an established national organization in the oil/gas industry for the Birmingham, Alabama branch. This company is centered around pipelines exploration and production and ranks in the top 10 among domestic independent producers operating in basins across the United States and in Brazil/Egypt.

In this position you will be responsible for the drafting section of this company's engineering department ensuring that timely, accurate, high quality drawings are produced for constructing natural gas transmission related facilities; generating and maintaining GIS data in support of pipeline systems and maintaining all drawing records related to of this organizations pipeline system.

The qualifications required for this position but not limited are listed as follows:
-Bachelor's Degree-with Engineering course of study
-Experience in Drafting and holding a position of management level
-Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems
-Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and set priorities
-Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
-Ability to communicate Drafting Technology and benefits to both technical and non-technical audiences in order to develop solutions that fits specific work orders
-Having experience in the Energy Utility or pipeline industry is a plus
