Job Listing: Microbiologist

Aerotek Scientific is currently hiring for a Microbiologist in Saint Joseph, MO.

Main job responsibilities include:
- Performing antibiotic potency assays for finished products
- Inspecting lines and packaged products
- Review and approve laboratory documentation
- Product testing for Microbial counts
- Staying compliant with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and cGMP

Qualified candidates must have:
- BS in Microbiology, Biology or related field
- Previous experience working in a laboratory
- Previous experience working under Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) is highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast paced setting
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills

This will be a day shift position, Monday through Friday. Hours will be approximately 7:00am - 3:30pm. Pay will range from $12.00 - $15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
