Job Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications must satisfy CLIA 88 requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or related field from an accredited college or university preferred. Equivalent experience acceptable.
Certification or eligibility to attain, one of the following registries:

Histologic Technique, American Society of Clinical Pathologists (HT/ASCP)

Histotechnologist, American Society of Clinical Pathologists (HTL/ASCP)

Electron Microscopy Technologist, Electron Microscopy Society of America (EMT/EMSA)
At least five years experience in an histology laboratory.
Knowledge and ability to use laboratory/hospitals information systems.
Demonstrated proficiency with laboratory equipment.
Ability to interact in a professional manner with individuals at all levels. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
Ability to keep work areas clean, orderly and safe at all times.
