Job Listing: Patient Reported Outcomes Scientist

A growing company is looking for an experienced PRO Scientist in the Pittsburgh area. Candidates will be providing consulting services to help clinical research teams effectively develop, execute, and document patient reported outcome (PRO) strategies to support their clinical research objectives. Candidates must have a Master's degree in Epidemiology, Clinical Psychology, Health Services Research, or related field. 3+ years of relevant experience in outcomes assessment, health economics, or psychometric validation is also required.

Responsibilities:

- Ability to interpret and evaluate the measurement/psychometric properties of PRO instruments;
- Provide input to the development of PRO research protocols to evaluate PRO instruments;
- Prepare technical reports and scientific manuscripts of results;


Qualifications:

- Ability to understand and work the range of disciplines within biopharmaceutical development;
- Expertise in psychology, epidemiology or related health services research/health outcomes field;
- Skills in experimental and quasi-experimental study design, literature review and integration;
- Experience with data analysis and validation of PRO instruments
- Willing to travel (foreign and domestic) up to 30%;
