Our client, a major Oil and Gas company, is seeking a Laboratory Technician.

Project Description:
Conversion of Bio-mass to Fuels

Job Responsibilities:
Carry out laboratory chemistry and bench scale unit conversions of cellulosic bio-mass to transportation fuels. The successful candidate will carry out the experimental work under the guidance of one or more professional chemists and engineers.

Skills Required:
A working knowledge of laboratory techniques, including: laboratory glassware, chemical apparatus set up, laboratory safety, basic analytical chemistry. A solid knowledge of computer operations including: XL, Word, and other Microsoft programs.

Desired Skills:
Understanding of, and experience with laboratory bench scale unit processing units would be a solid plus for this assignment. This includes instrumental, Swagelok (or equivalent), temperature control, and unit operation experience.
