Job Listing: Transportation Analyst

We are currently looking for candidates with a Customer Service Clerk with a background in air transportation and freight forwarding.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor the candidate will coordinate the movement of materials, equipment, and commodities in a timely and cost efficient manner corporate-wide, both domestically and internationally. The candidate will need to assist the organization and its’ carriers with answers to question to ensure compliance.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Required 1-3 years experience in freight forwarding, customs or supply chain or Associates degree in related field
- Computer skills necessary to learn and /or operate word processing, spreadsheet, database, email and web – based applications
- Analytical skills – detailed attention for cost saving measures
- Ability to work independently as needed
- Working knowledge of Lotus Notes
- Ability to assist Customer Service
- Inputting of air bill information into SAP/ LIMS
- Working knowledge import/export logistics
- Thorough knowledge of HTSUS codes
