An Automotive Company in the Metro Detroit Area has an immediate need for a Catia Modeler. Only qualified candidates should apply.

Job Description:

-Work with design staff to interpret and create range of models from block-in to Class A data for milling, SLA, and visualization software.

- Build full interior / exterior data ranging from body panels to highly detailed parts.

- Process and interpret package information for design groups.

- Process and check data for translation to various software programs.

- Provide rendering content for mid and final presentation reviews.

- Render 3D data using offline & real time software for reviews & final presentations.

- Work with/ fabrication group to build armature structures & plot data to generate section information.

Required Skills for Catia Modeler Job:

  • 2-10 YEARS WORKING IN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY
  • KNOWLEDGE OF CLAY MODELING PROCEDURES AND TECHNIQUES
  • PROFICIENT CREATING 3D SKETCH MODELS AND CLASS A MODELS
  • EXPERIENCED WITH DATA FORMATS AND FILE TRANSLATION PROCEDURES
  • EXPERIENCED WITH REALTIME AND OFFLINE RENDERING SOFTWARE
  • EXPERIENCED WITH RENDERING TERMINOLOGY
  • SHADERS AND TEXTURE MAPPING.
  • MUST BE PROFICIENT IN CATIA V5
