Job Listing: Materials Analyst/Buyer

Aerotek has an immediate opening for a Materials Analyst to work with our client in Charlotte, NC. The basic function of this position is the procurement and supply management activities for manufacturing.

The responsibilities of the Materials Analyst are as follows:

- Prepare and issue purchase orders
- Coordinate supply to meet production requirements
- Manage inventory levels
- Work with necessary personnel to maintain ISO certification
- Work closely with production planners and operations supervisors
- Provide information relating to potential line down situations
- Communicate delivery dates to the appropriate personnel
- Lead or support project work on ECN’s, new model introductions, or other product revisions

The qualified Materials Analyst will posses:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business
- MRP and/or ERP knowledge
- 1 to 3 yrs experience in production planning, purchasing, or materials management
- 3 to 5 yrs related experience in a manufacturing environment
