Job Listing: Journeyman HVAC Technician

Aerotek's client in Baltimore County has a couple immediate openings for service technicians. Company is a leader in property management and real estate. The benefits package and culture is at the forefront of the industry.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventative maintenance in a timely and professional manner.

2. Complete service calls for current or new customers in a timely and professional manner.

3. Maintain positive communication with Building Engineers and/or Property Managers; prioritize and respond to all requests and problems.

4. Advise Service Manager of all major problems found while responding to service calls during preventative maintenance.

5. Report daily hours spent at each job to Administrative Assistant II.

6. Responsible for large commercial system maintenance, service and installation, including pneumatic/electrical control systems, energy management systems and 50+ ton RTU’s.

7. Provide guidance to Service Technicians with regards to maintaining, servicing and installing large commercial HVAC systems including pneumatic/electrical control systems, energy management systems and 50+ ton RTU.

8. Fill out tickets for each job in full detail and attach all invoices that correspond to that particular job.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of five years experience working as a Service Technician in the residential or commercial HVAC service industry.

2. Proficient knowledge and troubleshooting capability of all types of commercial HVAC systems including but not limited to: cooking towers, VAV systems, boilers, chillers, split systems, heat pumps, air compressors, unit heaters, circulation pumps, computer room units, sand filters, intake and exhaust fans, superchargers, VVT systems, air cooled DX units, water cooled DX units, pneumatic control systems, and electronic control systems.

3. Must be able to read trade related drawings such as mechanical drawings and internal wiring schematics for the above referenced equipment.

4. Universal CFC certification card.

5. State certified journeyman’s license or equivalent.
