Lab Technician
Up to a 24 month contract

QC Micro Control Dept.

Responsibilities:

Performs microbiological laboratory tests or other laboratory work according to written procedures. Determines microbiological attributes of samples.
Sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instruments.

Performs laboratory tests according to prescribed standards.
Collects and analyze samples.
Tests samples to verify conformity to specifications.
Records test results and writes test reports describing procedures used.
Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment.
May prepare graphs and charts.
May prepare media according to standard methods and procedures.

Requirements:

AAS in Microbiology or related field
Hands-on lab experience.
Knowledgeable in lab techniques
Able to work independently and in a team environment
Able to meet deadlines
