Job Listing: Java Web Developer

TEKsystems has teamed with a Federal Government Integrator to find a Java Web Developer. Working in a very team based environment that is focused on producing the highest quality products. This opportunity offers the ability to obtain the equivalent of a Top Secret clearance. Must be able to obtain US Government Top Secret Security Clearance. Client will not offer sponsorship.

This position will develop front-end and business logic code for in-house developed applications. Develop new business application modules as directed by the IT Applications Development Manager and is responsible for program coding, testing, launching, maintenance and support. Develop and execute test plans that ensure system and application integrity and quality. Provide technical expertise in the design, development and integration of internal business applications. Work with software development team in the development of project timelines and documentation. Participate in work group sessions and work with other developers to enhance the capability of applications. Provide troubleshooting support for the existing applications.

Required Experience:
- Must have 6 months of Java Server Faces development.
- Minimum of 2-4 years Java Web application development.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities).

Qualified applicants may be subject to a background investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for classified information. Must be able to obtain US Government Top Secret Security Clearance. Client will not offer sponsorship.

Desired Skills:
- Web application architecture
- Apache, GlassFish/Tomcat
- XML
- OOP Design Pattern implementation
- SQL/Oracle

Experience that would be a plus: NetBeans, programming for LDAP integration, CVS, Java Persistence API, Unit testing, JSF Component development.
