Description:
The Project Manager is responsible for effective project planning that provides technical quality, maintains personnel productivity, and culminates in punctual delivery of project deliverables within established budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities will incorporate the following:
-Looking for a motivated self-starter who works well in a team environment.
-Implement contracts and subcontracts
-Manage client relationship to ensure client satisfaction and to secure future work
-Manage proposal and project teams
-Maximize project profitability while ensuring minimum profit targets
-Minimize project risk (personal, financial, legal, client relations, and performance)
-Report any significant changes in scope, schedule, or budget
Requirements: The successful candidate will travel frequently to project locations and will have experience that incorporates the following:
-Plan and manage budget, schedule, procurement, task execution, subcontracts, and environmental management systems
-Must have experience conducting CERCLA/RCRA field investigations, including sample collection; analyzing and interpreting data; technical writing including work plans, reports, and proposals; client communications and regulatory negotiations; and providing marketing support.
-Position will require management of site characterization projects and assigned tasks on projects managed by other team members up to $1M annually.
-Must have ability to supervise contractors and staff and project level employees, and to work well with peers, PMs and clients.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have:
-BS/BA in engineering, health physics, or science required. Advanced degree and/or Professional Registration preferred.
-Minimum 6 years of technical experience
-Requires working knowledge of Microsoft software to include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project.
-Experience with mixed waste or radiological contamination sites a plus.
-No physical restrictions preventing him or her from walking in industrial environments or undeveloped properties.
