Job Listing: Cell Culture Lab Tech

Cell Culture Lab Tech- 2 positions
Up to a 24 month contract

This position is within Biotech Inoculum.

Responsibilities:
Perform cell culture operations under the supervision of trained technologists. Performance Standards are introduced and an emphasis at this level is on exhibiting safety and teamwork, although all standards will be evaluated.

Complete departmental General Knowledge Units and job specific Level 1 Job Function Training units. Maintain training logbooks.
Perform general laboratory functions of cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

Ability to learn and demonstrate knowledge of procedures from SOPs important.
Good documentation skills are required.
Ability to work under GMP guidelines essential.

First Shift 7/7:30-4/4:30, rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements:

BA/BS in Biological Sciences or related field of study.
Academics to include Microbiology, Biology, Cell Biology, and other relevant courses.

Hands-on work experience with aseptic techniques required

Experience in mammalian cell culture preferred but may consider other cell culture experience.

Working knowledge of Excel and Word and the ability to learn other computer programs required.

Activities to reflect team work, organization, goal accomplishments, and good documentation skills.

Previous work experience/academic recommendations (where applicable) will be considered.
