We are seeking and have an immediate need for a Datacenter Project Manager

Duration: 6 months+
Location: Redmond, WA
Position Title: Project Manager (Datacenter)

Scope of work:
Responsible for coordinating hardware (hardware implementation, desktops, servers) and software platform requests on a project basis between engineering and product/project management teams within two national data centers consisting of several hundred thousand network elements in a predominately Sun Server environment.

- Modify platform delivery workflow to increase delivery timelines
- Create and modify existing processes
- Manage multiple and simultaneously projects
- Managed distribution of all engineering tickets to Platform Engineering Team
- Lead daily and weekly meetings with engineers and the entire team.
- Update Project Tracking tool
- Create detailed project plans
- Provide status reports to internal customers of hardware/software platform request
- Drive vendors and delivery dates; create accountability
- Negotiating and creating schedules based on resource availability and customer requirements.
- Managing schedules to ensure completion of necessary deliverables.
- Manage vendors and drive delivery dates.

This position sits in the Architecture and Platform Engineering team and reports to the Sr. Project Manager. The Architecture and Platform team supports new design and architectural modifications for applications and infrastructure support. The Platforms support the network side only- including lab and production environments. This role will supports the division and collaborates with the CTO and organization to ensure that connectivity throughout the organization’s network maintains the integrity of standards.
