Job Listing: Reliability Engineer

Aerotek is seeking a Reliability Engineer for their client in Huntington Beach, CA.

This is a hands-on, in-plant position with responsibility for the overall risk evaluation and reliability of station equipment. This includes leading the Condition Based Maintenance program (CbM), seeking out and implementing industry proven best practices with respect to preventative and predictive maintenance and supporting team projects through research and project management. The successful candidate will demonstrate organization and communication skills combined with an enthusiasm to improve as a team.


Qualifications/
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and successfully take/direct appropriate action on multiple projects at the same time
- Familiarity with the CbM techniques of vibration analysis, thermography, oil sampling with the ability to generate, effectively communicate and help execute a meaningful action plan with the test results
- Solid understanding of industrial safety programs with attention to detail and the formality which is required to keep yourself and coworkers safe.
- Mechanical background familiar with heavy industry, bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Strong people, technical, financial and computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, etc).
- Must be self motivated, have a positive attitude and is experienced in contributing individual efforts toward team goals
- Ability to support a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation
