Job Listing: Architect/Technical Lead (C#)

TEKsystems has partnered with an organization seeking an Architect for a contract until January.

Role Description:
Experience in Full system lifecycle required including development, test, and implementation of highly robust and reliable solutions. This position will also include managing technical tasks with a team of developers and working with technical stakeholders from other groups. The candidate will be expected to follow standard development methodologies and practices. Responsibilities will include: Analysis, design and architecture, development, and implementation of new Brokerage initiatives.

Required Skillset:
Candidate must possess or demonstrate: Good oral and written English communication skills, A team player attitude and must demonstrate an understanding of OO principles and practices. 8+ years overall IT experience including database development, architecture and design, and distributed applications development. Candidates possessing the following are preferred: Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, Microsoft development technologies with 3+ years experience using C# / .NET. Previous C++ background preferred, although VB and Java background will also be considered. ASP.NET/C# and an understanding of HTTP, HTML, JavaScript are required. Component & Object Oriented Development and an ability to understand and write UML models is a strong requirement. Candidate must be able to contribute in all layers of development, testing and implementation. Candidate must be able to work close with an external vendor, understand technical implementations, weaknesses and be able to provide pragmatic / expedited solutions.
