Job Listing: Mid Level GIS Analyst

TEKsystems has partnered with a local defense contractor to offer an mid-level GIS Analyst position.

The ideal candidate will have 1 1/2 to 2+ years of experience in a professional GIS environment. The candidate will be working with cartographers and large maps. Required experience includes ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and building and designing GeoDatabases.

Desired skills include knowledge of small scale Navigational Planning Charts (TPC- Tactical Planning Chart, ONC- Operational Navigational Chart, JNC- Jet Navigational Chart, GNC- Global Navigational Chart), Erdas Imagine 8.x or later, map finishing experience, and experience with Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.

The candidate must possess good communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.

Each candidate MUST be able to obtain a clearance.

**An existing DoD clearance is a plus.
