Job Listing: Jr. Web Developer/Designer

A current customer of TEKsystems in Beltsville is seeking a web developer (2 years experience) to support the growth of their digital print services division. This person will be a key contributor by designing websites (internal and external) to drive customer traffic to the site along with incorporating digital printing technology (MindFire) into future website design. This person will be responsible for working with the Business Development and Marketing teams to implement creative digital printing solutions. MindFire is a specific web page development blueprint that collects data used in direct marketing campaigns. The candidate will be developing very specialized survey pages that roll up to their customer's web sites and databases. Pages are specific to demographic and are designed to collect the person's personal data for marketing purposes. This is not a designing role; the design is handled by the customer and the company's sales team. The web developer simply develops their vision.

The shift is flexible between a 9am and 8pm start time; the lead works 12 to 8, but this person could work 9 to 5 if desired. The position is set up to be a 6 month contract with every intention of going permanent. Someone overqualified will not be challenged by this role. However, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to get in on the ground floor of a service offering within an established company.

CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)
Adobe Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver)
