Job Listing: Product Development Engineer

Aerotek CE has an immediate opening for a Product Development Engineer in Carmel, IN. This is an 18-24 month contract position.

This individual will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new and revised part designs and finished goods models that meet customer needs. They will work with internal manufacturing plants and various component suppliers, following the new and/or revised product designs from concept to launch.

Job Duties:

* Design, develop, and implement new and revised products.

* Coordinate ECN and BOM's for new or altered products

* Perform modeling and drawing duties in addition to design solutions

* Load engineering data into database

* Work with design to approve new parts and assemblies through PPAP

* Coordinate certification and validation testing

* Coordinate prototype sample builds for marketing samples

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor of Science degree in ME or MET with 2+ years of product design/development experience

* Proficient in Pro/E Wildfire

* Competent in Machined, fabricated, and plastic part design, rapid prototyping, and tolerance stack-up analysis.

* Competent in GD&T ASME/ANSIY 14.5, Data Manager (PDM) or other electronic file management systems
