Job Listing: Process Engineer

Our client has been at the forefront of their field since they developed their product in the 1950's. They also have developed new innovative ways to make semi-conductors. Currently they are in need for a Process Engineer.

Position Description/Responsibilities

-Work as a Product Specialist/Product Engineer on select product lines.
-The position will require using established and developing new processes to successfully manufacture finished products to meet all quality requirements.
-Activities will include assuring a supply of quality raw materials, material and formulation spreadsheets, specifying the manufacture and testing of individual batches or product, using SPC to monitor quality, creating engineering curves and experimental designs to improve costs and quality, working in new product teams and independently to scale-up new products, modifying products to meet requirements and developing new product variations.
-The individual will have primary responsibilities for all product characteristics, to include customer's Quality needs and issues, new specifications, identifying testing needs and improvements, raw material requirements, improving manufacturing cycle time and costs, commercializing new products and building teamwork within all stages of the process.
-The position may require conducting experiments, testing samples and raw material QC.

Requirements/Qualifications

BS degree in a scientific discipline (Chemistry or Engineering preferred) with 4 or more years of experience. Experience with statistical applications, SPC and Design of experiments preferred. Experience may include manufacturing processes, lab or scale-up processes, Quality assurance, FAB, Research or Applications related to specialty chemicals, photolithography and/or optical coatings.
