Job Listing: Sr. Systems Engineer

Knowledge & Experience • 6-8 years hands-on experience on system administration skills, server build and server troubleshooting in collocation environments. Solid understanding of LAN/WAN technologies and software tools for performance monitoring and troubleshooting. • Minimum 4 years hands-on experience in a mission-critical production environment of 100+ servers using Microsoft Windows 200x, MS SQL Server, MS Clusters, .NET Platform and IIS Web Server. • Minimum 4 years scripting and automation experience in a mission critical production environment. • Minimum 4 years hands-on experience designing and managing server farms running .NET and COM+ application for E-commerce systems infrastructure. • Solid background on TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting in a Microsoft Windows networking environment. Strong knowledge of NetIQ monitoring software is highly preferred. • Experience with Dell server hardware, EMC SAN and business suite management software. • Experience setting policies, procedures, network software and hardware standards, documentation standards. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, LDAP and security best practices with Windows 2000 minimum (2003 desired). • Familiarity with UNIX systems (Linux/Redhat & Solaris) and ability to provide level 2 support on those platforms is a plus. • Extensive knowledge of Windows command line utilities and tools. • Experience working with MS SQL 2005 or Oracle 10g a plus
