Job Listing: TX-AutoCad Designer
This position is responsible for providing mechanical design and drafting support for Package Refurbishment Mechanical Installation drawings. Plans and executes the creation of the MI drawings by combining the selected package options required by the customer. Must work effectively within a project design team to depict and deliver all needed package design configurations on the project drawings to support established project schedules. Interfaces extensively and resolves problem areas with other engineering disciplines to ensure incorporation of all required package design criteria. Duties would also include creation and maintenance of standard template and composite drawings.

Required Skills
Requires thorough knowledge of standard drafting practices utilizing interactive graphics system (AutoCad). Must be able to interpret engineering layouts and drawings and apply this information to create customer MI drawings. Has to resolve conflicting project requirements for custom feature designs while at the same time leveraging existing standard package designs. Responsibilities include the planning and execution of the project milestones to support the project scheduling system due dates for the customer drawings.
The successful candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills. The position requires the ability to work successfully within a teaming environment to provide customer deliverables on time to meet the schedule commitments. During periods of high volume project workloads working overtime is a requirement and expectation of this job.
Qualifications: This position requires an Associates degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) principles. Experience working with AutoCad drafting and design is a plus.
