Job Listing: System Administrator, MS Project Server
Seeking bright, energetic, highly motivated individual to who is excited about working in the fast-paced environment.
If chosen for this position you will support all aspects of the MS Project Server implementation for my clients Program Management Office.
Key responsibilities include performing general server administrative and maintenance tasks, monitoring and optimizing system performance and reliability, maintaining configuration and field values, managing enhancements/upgrades and providing end-user support.
The candidate chosen for this role will perform as an MS Project subject matter expert for all technical aspects of MS Portfolio Server, Project Server including MS SharePoint as it pertains to MS Project Server, SQL 2005 and SQL Reporting Services. You will provided training, coaching , prepare project and portfolio management reports using SRS, install and configure development, test and production environments, assist end users in the setup of project plans and Project Web Access, and build and test global templates/views within Project Professional, Portfolio Analyzer and Portfolio Modeler.

Required Skills
Candidate should have proven experience with the deployment, configuration, administration, and enhancement of Microsoft Project Server 2003 (2007 a Plus).
Should have proven experience in development and configuration in the Project Server 2003/SQL Server/Windows SharePoint Services environment.
Prior experience with the functions of a Program Management Office is highly desirable.
Experience in programming, design, structured development techniques and analysis desired.
Prior experience in database administration, report development, project management, and web-based database technologies is required.
Demonstrated experience using Project Management software tools is required.
Extensive experience with MS Project, MS Project Server administration, MS Word, MS Excel, and SRS is required.
Experience as an IT systems administrator or database administrator is desired.
