Job Listing: Logistics Engineer

Logistics Engineer
This position is located in Lafayette, Indiana in the Supply Chain Group. This position is responsible for gathering and analyzing Plan for Every Part (PFEP) data for appropriate pull strategy and presentation to point of use.

This position will also work with assembly and distribution technicians to develop and maintain returnable container strategies.

The position will also participate on 6 Sigma teams and improvement workshops.

The candidate must be capable of interfacing effectively with internal and external suppliers and other team members in Supply Chain.



Required Skills

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of work experience relevant to the position; excellent longevity in previous positions, and a bachelor's degree or certificate is highly preferred.

Effective interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. High initiative and innovation. Ability to prioritize workload and support multiple projects. Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience with 6 Sigma. Experience with Plan for Every Part and Lean Initiatives.
