Job Listing: .Net-Java - Developer

Volt is seeking 3 bright Programmers to design, implement, and deploy software (Java, .NET, C++, C#, XML, web services, SOAP) in North Austin area. These are long term contract positions (possibly up to 9 months).

The Primary duties of these positions are:

-- Architect and document code and processes (UML).

-- Participate in design/code reviews.

-- Create and implement project schedules and resource determinations.

-- Manage source code versioning process within team (VSS).

-- Design, implement and deploy database schema and code (MS SQL Server 2000, Oracle).

-- Provide development level support to end users and lead development modules.

-- Create and present the training program for level 1 and 2 support.

Required Skills

* Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field of study, plus 6 months of experience as a Software Engineer.

* Requires demonstrated experience with MS SQL Server, MS.NET, XML and Web Services, Java and Distributed Programming.

* Must have 3 plus years experience in each of the following skills/areas:.NET, C++, Visual Basic, XML, Java, C#
