Job Listing: Web and Workflow Development Expert

Worldwide technology firm in Austin, TX has an immediate opening for a Web and Workflow Development Expert professional.


1. The successful candidate will be Using SharePoint Designer 2007 to convert/transition existing graphic design of the AICS Training Framework so that it can be implemented on SharePoint server

a. Re-create or convert the existing framework design from PowerPoint format to SharePoint format

b. Finished project will look and work-like an internet web site with multiple pages. Each page will have a framework graphic with hot links to other web pages, documents, etc.

2. Using SharePoint Designer 2007, build a workflow for the purpose of registering for Dell education courses

a. Workflow process includes e-mails forwarded from person to person until the final destination/action is completed (starts with the person requesting attendance to a course, goes to manager for approval, etc., etc., and ends with Resource Manager who places the course on the attendees calendar)

b. Each completed request will then be logged on a separate document (via SharePoint workflow) which will act as an attendee roster for each course

3. Train a member of the internal training team so that the implemented framework and workflows can be maintained, modified, and enhanced on an ongoing basis

4. Possible other secondary SharePoint site management development projects as needed.



Required Skills


Required Skills/Knowledge: The Internal Training team is looking for a developer who will be responsible for developing collaborative and Workflow solutions using Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and related MS .NET technologies.

*Experience developing SharePoint based web sites using SharePoint Designer

*Experience developing Workflow and content management solutions

*Experience with SharePoint templates, master pages, and role-based templates

*Experience with SharePoint architecture and enterprise initiatives such as collaboration tools, portals, enterprise search, content management, business workflows and forms

*Experience with the design and implementation of custom web parts ' Strong competency with back end development, Visual Studio Tools for Office, Windows Workflow Foundation, Forms Server and Excel Services ' Experience with .NET framework and ASP .NET 2.0

*Strong Microsoft skills, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio
*Strong communication skills: presentation/ communication / facilitation skills (oral and written)
