Job Listing: Sales and Service Administrative Assistant

Are you dedicated Administrative Assistant with experience supporting a Sales and Service organization? We have a great part time position available in Downtown San Jose, which may eventually become full time. In this position, you would create, manage and organize customer data in TPS and Oracle 11i database systems, conduct research inquiries regarding related products and services, assist account managers by researching customer problems related to invoices and service issues in a timely manner, support the department with monthly report generation and dissemination, and other administrative support functions as needed (photocopy, faxing, mailing, filing).

This is a 20-30 hour per week position with the potential to turn into full time, depending on business needs.

Required Skills

Five or more years experience as an administrative assistant, with a minimum of two years of recent support in a sales environment involving customer database/record keeping.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, and related software.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize, and perform multiple tasks as well as the ability to work with diverse range of people, and departments.
Self-motivated, punctual, and consistent attendance.
