Job Listing: Marine Diesel Sales Engineer

The Role: You will develop and implement a business plan to aggressively grow our client's marine diesel engine sales within the Inland Waterways market of Western Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Ohio. You will concentrate on businesses involved with mining and transportation of coal, aggregates, and other commodities along the inland waterways of the sales territory. You will focus on the commercial marine, mining, industrial and automotive markets to grow the business. You will be responsible for top line sales growth and bottom line results derived from direct engine, parts, and service sales. You will have a basket of resources to fulfill these goals including: training; engineering support; and marketing resources. The Person: Preferred skills and experience include: sailing as an engineer or mate in the inland marine fleet; previous sales experience in the marine diesel industry; local knowledge of the western PA, Ohio, Michigan marine market.
