Job Listing: Collections Technician (Phlebotomist)
The American Red Cross is currently seeking full-time Collection Technicians and Specialists to join our team in Louisville. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 months health care experience to perform donor history, venipuncture, and promote good donor care during the collection of units of blood in accordance with the code of federal regulations (CFR). Must possess a professional and friendly demeanor. Some weekend work is also required. Additional qualifications include certified phlebotomists, certified nursing assistants; valid KY driver’s license and a friendly demeanor. Medical assistant/phlebotomy experience preferred. The ability to adapt to irregular hours and schedule changes is required. You must be able to work flexible hours, travel within our sponsor area and occasionally travel overnight. Interested candidates with Phlebotomist, RN, LPN, EMT, designation are encouraged to apply.
