Job Listing: Material Handler (Warehouse)

RESPONSIBILITIES: · Select inventory or pack customer orders under supervision. · Load or unload delivery vehicles and assemble stock onto pallets, warehouse trucks, racks, or shelves. · Open cartons, bundles, and other containers and convey stock to designated area by hand, handtruck, or other equipment. · Weigh, count, and record units of stock for customer order verification. · May drive van or light vehicle to deliver customer orders. · May perform counter sales responsibilities as backup personnel. · May perform wire cutting duties and inventory cycle counting as required. · Perform other duties as assigned. NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday Some overtime required (Note: the normal work schedule may vary depending on location.) Required Skills


Education: Prefer High School Graduate or G.E.D.
Experience: Six months to one-year warehouse/material handling experience preferred.
Knowledge: Basic reading, math skills, and attention to detail strongly preferred. Ability to walk and move freely and regularly lift up to 70 pounds. Knowledge of warehousing procedures and security regulations. OSHA certified in safe operation of forklift, wire cutting and stretch-wrap equipment desirable. DOT certification desirable.
