Position Description:
o Responsible for supervising the day to day operations in the Shipping and Receiving Departments.
o Strong knowledge of shipping to local and national destinations.
o Direct supervision of personnel and daily activities to achieve production goals.
o Must possess strong knowledge of packaging and shipping electronics parts per ISO guidelines.
o Responsible for ensuring that shipping and receiving is being completed within the specified timelines and according to approved procedures.
o Establish and maintain department standards and procedures.
o Train employees according to established procedures; maintain attendance and training records.
o Conduct performance reviews.
o Will require close interaction with Purchasing and other internal departments.

Required Skills
o Minimum of 4 - 5 years in a manufacturing operation (preferably a high volume electronics environment) with at least 3 years as a supervisor in shipping and receiving.
o Knowledgeable of federal and other regulations of shipping and receiving guidelines.
o Knowledge of MS Office (excel proficiency a plus) and software systems used in manufacturing
o Basic understanding of ERP systems (documentation, compliance, inventory control, production scheduling/ controls, etc.).
o Solid understanding of shipping and receiving and manufacturing processes including use of DHL, FEDX, and UPS equipment/computers.
