Hard-Core Automotive Enthusiast with Test Experience Needed!
Our Client, a leading game studio in Redmond, WA, is looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented car aficionado to coordinate finding, photographing, cataloging, reviewing and disseminating visual content.
This person will execute pre-written manual test cases and report product abnormalities when they are found. This person should have extensive previous test experience (either in games or traditional testing) and be an avid gamer. This person will also need to have the ability to write manual test cases and own feature areas. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are required.
In addition, a hard-core passion for cars is REQUIRED!

Can you identify the make and model of a car just by looking at its head lights in your rearview mirror at night?
Are you obsessive about detail? Can you tell the difference between a JDM, USDM and UK-spec Integra Type-R? Do you know what the different performance benefits are for a splitter, a spoiler and an air dam?
Are you plugged into the car community? Do you enjoy car shows and browsing the latest car magazines? Do you race cars and/or belong to a car club? Do you love going to automotive trade shows to discover the latest and greatest aftermarket products?
Have you ever customized your ride? Ever done custom body work, paint, wheels and tires, a body kit, an engine upgrade, suspension tweaking, etc.?

Required Skills

The following skills are needed!

1+ year of Software and/or Game Testing experience
Previous test experience (either in games or traditional testing)
Avid Gamer - Loves Games!
Fluency in a wide range of car makes, models, visual details, and automotive terminology required - has a deep understanding of cars and enjoys discussing automotive topics!
Sharp eye for visual detail
Solid organizational skills
Quick learner
Excellent time and priority management
Relentless determination and proven ability to research and uncover hard-to-find information
Great communication skills
Ability to work independently
Strong testing skills
Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail and the ability to learn new information quickly and the ability to communicate test results quickly

Bonus Skills and Experience (Nice to Have):

Leadership skills/experience a big plus
Digital photography enthusiast
Experience with Asset Cataloging/Management and Project Management
